Functional description The reduction of O-GlcNAcylation following infection with OGT siRNA, exacerbated the production of ROS and decreased the expression of antioxidant genes. Treatment with PUGNAc reduced glyoxal-induced cell apoptosis and transfection with OGT siRNA increased HREC apoptosis.
